3 Texas Cities, Including Houston, Make the Top 15 Places to Go for Thanksgiving

HOUSTONThanksgiving is just around the corner and if you’re looking to travel for the holidays you might want to consider a staycation.

This is because a recent study conducted by WalletHub ranked three Texas cities, including Houston, among the top 15 places to go for Thanksgiving.

Researchers looked at 100 of the largest cities, taking into account dozens of factors, including Thanksgiving dinner costs, share of delayed flights and volunteer opportunities.

Their results might be a little disappointing for Houstonians, as our city was ranked 15th compared to Dallas and San Antonio, ranked 5th and 7th, respectively.

San Diego, meanwhile, was ranked as the best place to go for Thanksgiving, while Stockton, California, was named the worst.
