Police have released this image of a vehicle they believe was used in a sexual assault in Brampton.

Peel police have narrowed their search for a man suspected of being responsible for a sexual assault in Brampton.

According to reports, the suspect was posing as a rideshare driver on Nov. 8 when he picked up an 18-year-old woman and took her to a remote area where the assault took place.

At that time, the passenger was picked up around 8 p.m. at the bus stop located at Goreridge Crescent and Via Romano Way and taken to Clareville Conservation on Highway 50 and The Gore Road.

Police have released an image of the car used in the crime.

The vehicle is described as a black, four-door Hyundai Elantra.

Additionally, the man police are looking for is South Asian, of medium complexion, bleached black hair (short on top), well-groomed black beard, medium to muscular build, average height, aged ‘around 20 to 25 years old, wearing blue. or a black winter jacket and black pants.
