Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is expected to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but his father and head coach Deion Sanders revealed he will make sure his son ends up in the right situation .

During an appearance on TalkCoach Prime was asked if he would step in and prevent Shedeur from being drafted by the “wrong” team, and he responded in the affirmative.

“Yes, but I won’t do it publicly, I’ll do it privately,” Sanders said.

Sanders added that Shedeur isn’t the only player he’ll be working for behind the scenes, saying, “And with Travis too,” referring to Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter.

“This kid loves this game and he has an insatiable appetite to win, and I want someone to be able to take him to the next level as well,” Sanders said.
