“White people should go back to Europe”: Khalistanis call on Canadians to leave, saying “we own Canada”

By a twist of fate, Khalistan sympathizers brazenly called the Canadians “invaders” and asked them to “return to England and Europe.”

In a post on We own Canada” and “White people should go back to Europe and Israel.” How do we allow these laggards to shape our foreign policy?

The video clip shows a march in Surrey during which Khalistan flags are visible while some members shout “white people should go back to Europe and Israel”.

This voice can also be heard saying that “white people are invaders” and that “we own Canada.” Needless to say, the music video has gone viral since its release.

Ties between India and Canada deteriorated following the assassination last year of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Khalistani sympathizer labeled a terrorist by India.

Indian intelligence and agencies believe Trudeau is supporting Khalistan groups to secure MP Jagmeet Singh’s support in next year’s elections. Trudeau has seen his popularity drop massively and is struggling to hold his government together, especially as he admitted that his allegations against India were just intelligence information and that he did not had “no concrete evidence”.

India-Canada ties

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has made inclusiveness and multiculturalism central themes of his leadership, has been criticized by Indian officials for his perceived leniency toward pro-Khalistani groups.

In addition, the fact that Trudeau counts on the support of the New Democratic Party (NDP), whose leader Jagmeet Singh is a Canadian Sikh, has further complicated relations. The perception that Trudeau might indirectly support these groups in exchange for political support has been a source of contention for India, which views the issue as a serious threat to national security.

The situation was further complicated by Canada’s decision to suspend diplomatic negotiations with India following Nijjar’s assassination. India, in turn, condemned the actions of some Canadian officials, seen as favorable to Khalistan’s interests, leading to a diplomatic standoff.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Singh Sidhu, a Canadian Border Police officer employed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), has been cleared of terrorism charges by Canadian authorities. The development comes amid growing allegations by the Indian government, which accused Sandeep Sidhu of promoting Khalistan terrorist activities and playing a key role in the murder of Shaurya Chakra awardee Balwinder Singh Sandhu in Punjab , in Tarn Taran district of Punjab in October. 2020.
