Woman charged with murder after fatal stabbing on CTA bus

CHICAGO – A woman has been charged with murder Fatal stabbing on CTA bus.

Chicago police said the stabbing occurred just after 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, on a CTA bus in the 200 block of South Cicero Avenue.

A 49-year-old man got into an argument with a woman, identified as 43-year-old Nicole Dugar, on the bus. That’s when Dugar reportedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the chest, according to investigators.

Possible skeletal remains discovered in Bolingbrook

The man was at Mt. Dugar, where he died while escaping. He was taken to Sinai Hospital.

On Monday, police said they arrested Dugar in the 0-100 block of South Cicero Avenue. He was charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of murder; There is a strong possibility of death/injury.

Dugar has a hearing on Wednesday, October 23.
