“Choose a career that you gravitate towards and work towards achieving your desired goals in life,” said Anil Verma, Chief Executive Officer of Navdeep Public School, while addressing students at the Science Model Competition held at Budhawin school (Galore). near here Wednesday.

He said that there are different areas in which students can prove their excellence and become successful citizens of the society.

Parents previously thought that medicine and engineering were the only viable options for their children, he said, adding that several paths now opened up for children, who could choose from a wide range of careers – sciences , arts, commerce, sports and music, among others.

He said it was the responsibility of parents and teachers to explore children’s talents and interests and develop their skills.

Principal Akshat Verma said the ceremony was organized to nurture the talents of students and provide them an opportunity to showcase their creativity.

He also urged parents to monitor their children regularly and encourage them to participate in extracurricular activities for the overall development of their personality.

He added that such events build the confidence of students from a young age.
