Birmingham Stallions host Fall Fan Fest ahead of 2025 season

BIRMINGHAM, AlabamaWBRC) – The Birmingham Stallions are preparing to win their fourth consecutive league title. This spring, the Stallions will be the team to beat in the UFL.

Thursday night, fans gathered at Cahaba Brewing to hear from Stallions head coach Skip Holtz and had the opportunity to meet players and other Stallions fans. UFL Executive Vice President Daryl Johnston was also on hand to share his thoughts on the team and the upcoming season.

“So just all the little things, when you talk about a championship caliber team, it seems like Birmingham has always been able to check that box. It all starts with Skip at the top and the culture he brings,” Johnston said.

Since the merger between the XFL and USFL took place just months before the start of last season, this is the first time the UFL has had a full offseason to prepare for a new season. Johnston says one of the main points of focus has been the fan experience. He says that since the access provided to the broadcast is so strong, the league is working hard to match that experience for fans inside the stadium.

And as for attendance, Holtz says he would love to see the stands full this season.

“We have to fill the protective stadium. I think with what we’ve been able to do on the field, I don’t think there’s any reason why we can’t create the best home field advantage in the UFL. And we need fans in the stands to do it,” Holtz said.

The UFL schedule is expected to be released in the coming weeks. Opening day is March 28.
