TODAY

Our system from yesterday will continue to strengthen over the Atlantic today, increasing the wind field around it. As we are on the back of the system and clearing out throughout the day, expect breezy winds.

Afternoon temperatures will reach the 60s today with a gusty breeze throughout the day. Wind gusts up to 30 mph will be possible at times today.

The sun returns and the wind blows behind the cold front.

THIS WEEKEND

The wind will calm down as the weekend approaches and the weather remains seasonal with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will start in the 40s Saturday and climb into the mid 60s with plenty of sunshine.

Expect a cool night Saturday night and Sunday morning, as inland temperatures drop into the upper 30s to near 40 degrees. Along the Grand Strand, temperatures will fall into the low-mid 40s. Despite the cold start, temperatures will rebound throughout the day on Sunday with skies remaining sunny.

Highs will be seasonal with cooler mornings throughout the weekend.
