How much will an iPad Pro cost on Black Friday?

The 2024 iPad Pros haven’t gone on sale all year, so we don’t expect much from these brand new tablets. The best we’ve found so far is a saving of £30 on the iPad Pro 11 inch (now £969) and a saving of £50 on the 13-inch iPad Pro (now £1,249), both on Amazon.

However, if you’re looking for an older iPad Pro 2022, prices hit £586 in August, so there’s every chance we could see price drops like that again.

Save £20 on iPad 10th Gen (2022)

What’s the problem: Right now you can save £20 or 6% on the 10th generation iPad, bringing the price down to £308.97.

Why we chose it: Now there seems to be a bit of confusion around the iPad 10, with many different retailers offering it different percentages and discounted prices, so here’s the lowdown: AppleThe standard iPad 10 with a 10.9-inch screen and 64GB of storage costs £329, you can add extras such as Apple Care and additional storage which push the price up, but that’s the starting price. However, when the device was first released it cost £499, which is why some retailers claim you can save up to £200.

That means the only deals worth looking at for this model are those under £329. At the moment these are John Lewis, Very and Amazon.

Get up to £50 off the new iPad Pro (2024)

What’s the problem: It’s not much, but you can save £30 on the 11-inch iPad Pro and £50 on the 13-inch iPad Pro, both new for 2024. That brings the 11-inch model down to £969 and the 13-inch model at £1,249.

Save over £50 on iPad Air (2024)

What’s the problem: The new iPad Air 2024 also gets a discount. You can get the 11-inch for £55 off and the 13-inch for £50 off, bringing the prices to £559 and £749, respectively.

Why we chose it: The new iPad Air has all the best features of the Pro: a Liquid Retina display, a landscape camera perfect for FaceTime and video calling, and super-fast Wi-Fi 6E. The main reason it’s cheaper than the Pro is that it has an M2 chip rather than M4, but unless you’re running very intense gaming or programming, that won’t make much difference.

What’s the problem: At O2 you can pay for your iPad over 24 months, with prices starting from just £10 a month.

Why we chose it: If you don’t feel like paying a lump sum, this contract breaks your payments into small, manageable chunks.

Buy a Refurbished iPad from £79.99

What’s the problem: Most pre-2022 iPads have now been discontinued by Apple, but you can find a whole collection of refurbished iPads at Wowcher and Back Market. Their prices start at just £75 and include a wide variety of different iPad models.

Why we chose it: In case you didn’t know, refurbished is not the same as used. Rather than just being passed down from the previous owner, refurbished tablets have been checked, cleaned and repaired by the retailer, so these iPads should work just fine.
