Peel Regional Police are warning the public of a chemical spill in Mississauga.

Officers say the incident happened on Timberlea Boulevard near Tomken Road and Eglinton Avenue.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported two people to hospital as a precaution.

Police are advising the public to avoid the area.
