    Social media reaction as Netflix continues to buffer during boxing

    Netflix subscribers across the country took to social media Friday night to complain that the streaming service was buffering during the opening fight that was part of the highly touted Jake Paul-Mike Tyson card.

    The broadcast began at 8 p.m. EST. Midway through the opening fight between Neeraj Goyat and Whindersson Nunes, which Goyat won by unanimous decision, it didn’t take long for viewers to complain on X (formerly Twitter). “#Netflix” was second behind #paultyson.

    Netflix had not acknowledged the problem on its X account shortly after 9 p.m. EST, but the problem persisted before the second fight on the undercard.
