In the high desert, temperatures will be slightly cooler, with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s, and up to 73 degrees in Palm Springs.

A warming trend is expected tomorrow.

About the wind and frost warning

Light Santa Ana winds will persist later this afternoon into tomorrow for the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, including the Highway 5 corridor. Forecasters say wind gusts will be strongest this evening, with north winds expected between 20 and 35 mph and gusts up to 55 mph.

There is a frost advisory for the Antelope Valley foothills from late this evening until Tuesday morning.
