San Marino won only their second match in 20 years by beating Liechtenstein 3-1 in the Nations League.

The Minnows went a goal down just before the break, but rallied after half-time to score three times and claim a priceless victory.

It was their second in two decades, just three months after achieving their first, also against Liechtenstein.

This is the first time that San Marino has scored twice in its history, although it has never managed to come from behind to win a match either.

Better yet, they secured promotion from Nations League Tier D to Tier C, where they will meet Belarus and Estonia next.
