THE Epson 2350 4K PRO-UHD Smart Gaming Projector is currently $899.99, down from $1,299.99, which is Amazon’s lowest ever, according to price tracking tools. It features a three-chip LCD design, which eliminates rainbow artifacts, a big plus if you’re sensitive or prone to noticing them. Additionally, it uses Epson’s 4K Pro-UHD technology to deliver sharper visuals by doubling the pixel count of standard 1080p images. Audio-wise, its built-in speaker does a decent job for casual viewing, but if you want richer sound, you have the option of connecting external speakers via Bluetooth or its HDMI ARC port.

Installation is simple and with its 1.6x zoom and vertical lens shift, you can place it almost anywhere, whether mounted on the ceiling or stored on a shelf at the back of the room. This flexibility means you will rarely need to resort to digital keystone adjustments, preserving image quality. Speaking of which, the projector supports HDR10 and HLG HDR, which gives you brighter and more vibrant visuals, especially in well-lit rooms. In dark rooms, black levels can appear a little high, which can reduce contrast a bit, but shadow details remain clear.

Epson claims less than 20ms of input lag, but testing showed around 27.1ms at 1080p/60Hz, according to this PCMag Review– it’s not a compromise for casual gamers, but it might not be enough for those who need lightning-fast response times. It’s also worth mentioning that there’s no 3D support, which could be a drawback if you like immersive cinema or gaming experiences.

If the Epson 2350 4K PRO-UHD Smart Gaming Projector doesn’t check all your boxes, the BenQ TH685P worth checking out as an alternative.
