A new report from Booking.com provides insight into the top travel trends for next year, with many travelers looking beyond sightseeing.

“Holidays in 2025 will go beyond relaxation and evolve into enriching trips focused on health and wellness,” says the Booking.com website.

Fifty-two percent of American travelers say they are willing to pay for a vacation “designed solely to extend their life expectancy and improve their overall health,” according to Booking.com.

Ben Harrell, U.S. general manager of Booking.com, told Fox News Digital via email that he sees vacations evolving into something more for travelers than just a time to relax.

“(For) American travelers Willing to pay for vacations designed to improve one’s overall health and even extend one’s lifespan, the travel industry is mobilizing to offer transformative experiences, such as cryotherapy, body vibrations, red light treatments and therapies by stem cells, to help people find peace of mind. and a body that lasts even beyond the last days of the holidays,” Harrell said.

Booking.com sees longevity retreats in the lead, with 49% of Americans expressing interest in “programs that replace temporary fixes with deeper revitalization,” the website says.

Fifty-seven percent of travelers are looking for wellness practices they can take home, like learning about scheduled coffee drinking and exploring IV therapy.

“In 2025, the journey will not end with the journey; it will continue as a path to a longer, healthier life,” Harrell added.

The Booking.com report revealed destinations that could fit into the “passport longevity” orient yourself.

The online travel agency suggests Tromso, Norwayand San Pedro de Atacama, Chile, as the best places to seek out experiences that can boost longevity.

A Booking.com representative told Fox News Digital that these locations “stand out for their untouched natural environment and outdoor activities“.

In Tromsø, travelers can recharge with a floating sauna overlooking an Arctic cathedral in Pust.

As for Saint-Pierre From Atacama, travelers can enjoy Laguna Cejar and Puritama Hot Springs.

“Both of these locations are focused on wellness and align with the goals of longevity retreats,” Harrell said.
