It’s become a bit of a flagship festival for us, where we’re always checking out who’s in the line-up. I was going to have a great time throughout the day, but there was always that pinch of regret looking at the headliners that we could have done it ourselves one day too. I thought that moment had passed, and it was something I was willing to accept and was always going to miss. I think we’re all shocked and excited to be able to do this again together.

His brother, guitarist Felix White, added that The blows»Performing at the festival in 2023 was part of the motivation to reunite the group. “I could see they were enjoying it, realizing how great what they had created together was. As a group, you’re usually in a mindset of, ‘We can do better,’ and you’re always looking for something else,” Felix said.

“It’s an opportunity to realize that everything we had at that time was pretty special and to enjoy it again.” It’s an opportunity to appreciate everything, especially how it impacts others and creates community.
