Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa and African Development Bank (AfDB) President Akinwumi Adesina will attend the one-day meeting in Harare, alongside creditors, development groups and private sector representatives .

UNSUSTAINABLE SITUATION

It is necessary to get on track with bilateral creditors – and clear its arrears with the AfDB, the World Bank and the European Investment Bank – to unlock funds for Zimbabwe, once a regional breadbasket that is now struggling to feed its own population.
