Calgary Weather: One More Hot Weekend Before Halloween Cooldown Begins

This will be a great weekend to tackle some final yard work or decorate for Halloween.

Warm west winds begin early Saturday and help raise temperatures into the mid-teens in Calgary.

Precipitation is expected to fall in British Columbia on Saturday and Sunday – with surface temperatures and altitude dictating the type of precipitation that will fall.

A few scattered light snow showers could cross the Rockies and impact areas as far east as Canmore.

A strong low pressure system located off the west coast will move toward British Columbia on Sunday, bringing colder air from the north.

Daytime highs in Calgary on Monday will be at least seven degrees colder than Sunday, and it will only get worse.

On Halloween, the daytime high temperature is expected to be around 3°C with temperatures below freezing when the kids go trick-or-treating.
