Saskatoon Food Bank critically short of baby formula – Saskatoon

THE Saskatoon Food Bank says its supply of infant formula is dangerously low.

The organization is appealing for donations as it nears the end of its infant formula matching campaign.

Until the end of the month, Canpotex, sponsor of the event, will match donations up to $50,000.

The food bank says that due to the rising cost of living and food prices, demands for infant formula are at an all-time high.

“Our shelves are not very full. They are quite naked. So we’re challenging the community to help us raise the funds we need,” said Shelby Anderson, Communications and Events Coordinator for the Saskatoon Food Bank.

The food bank accepts infant formula donations at its Avenue C South location. Monetary donations can be made through their website.
