In-person early voting begins in DC, Colorado

In-person early voting began Monday in Washington, D.C. and Colorado.

Here’s everything you need to know to vote.

Top Down Races in States Voting Early Today

There are two competitive House districts across the states that began voting Friday:

  • Colorado’s 3rd District: The 3rd District spans most of western Colorado. Thanks to a largely rural working-class population (Aspen is the exception), the country has been safely Republican for more than a decade. But in 2022, the race came down to just 546 votes. Incumbent Rep. Lauren Boebert is moving to safer Republican territory this year, making it a race between her former Democratic challenger, Adam Frisch, and Republican attorney Jeff Hurd. It is Skinny R on the rankings.
  • Colorado’s 8th District: The 8th District begins in rural Weld County, where Trump won by 18 points in 2020. But the further down you go, the more suburban it becomes. Strong Democratic turnout in Adams County, which Biden won by 16 points, gave Democratic Rep. Yadira Caraveo her first victory of 2022. This time, the incumbent faces Republican politician Gabe Evans. It’s a Throw race.
