A few clouds and mostly dry conditions persist through midweek

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — High pressure dominates the forecast, making drier and warmer conditions possible through Wednesday. Morning lows will fall into the mid 60s. Highs return to the mid 80s Wednesday afternoon as clouds move in and out for the day. Models indicate a small chance of showers for those along the Georgia and Alabama state lines by the afternoon.

A front will begin to push further east through the end of the week, but no impact is expected in South Georgia. A few areas of scattered fog cannot be ruled out every morning. High temperatures will drop into the 80s by Sunday. Chances of rain will also elude the region over the weekend.
