How time flies when you’re having fun. Or when you’re not having fun! Time seems to pass endlessly without worrying about us, mere mortals. We’re only one day away from Halloween. I opted for a costume: The Dude from The Big Lebowski. I even found the exact clothes he wore, so I bought those instead of a suit. The real sweater, the pajama pants, the sunglasses. It’s the kind of clothing you can wear at any time. Funny, the guy was such a loser but he wore cute designer clothes and expensive sunglasses. Go figure.

It’s Wordle Wednesday, so here’s your riddle:

I can start a war or end it. I can give you the strength of heroes or leave you powerless. I might be trapped with a glance, but no force can compel me to stay. What am I?

I’ll post the answer tomorrow, but feel free to message me if you’ve solved the problem!

In any case, it’s Wordle time!

PEARL was, once again, an excellent starting hypothesis. With 11 words left, you’d think things would have gone better for me, especially since I already had so many boxes. I almost guessed STEAL next, but I was afraid I’d have too many possible answers if I didn’t try to write more letters. BUNGS was an attempt to reduce as many possible words as possible, and it almost worked wonderfully. With EASEL and STEAL remaining, I went with my first choice and . . . alas, I was wrong. EASEL for victory!
