Fire breaks out at Brampton motel

Firefighters battled a fire at a Brampton motel Tuesday evening.

The fire broke out at the Motel 6 south of Steeles Road near Highway 410 in Brampton, according to the post from @Media371.

Brampton Fire said crews were still on scene as of 10:40 p.m. Tuesday.

“The fire is under control, but crews will be on site for some time to deal with smoke and water removal,” Brampton Fire said on X.

The fire apparently caught a mattress in a room located on the third floor.
