Explore the winter nights of Champaign Prairie Farms this holiday season

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign Park District invites the public to join them for a festive evening full of lights, holiday music and hot chocolate.

The opening night of Winter Nights at Prairie Farm will be November 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. On opening night, attendees can help themselves to free hot chocolate while listening to the singers. Santa will also be available for a meet and greet.

Danville Wreaths Across America Need Donations

The event is completely free, but donations are encouraged to support Winter Nights at Prairie Farm.

After opening night, attendees will still have the chance to enjoy the holiday lights every Thursday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. through January 5. Free hot chocolate will still be available on Fridays and Saturdays.

On several Sundays, Winter Nights will also offer a sensory experience. They will have non-flashing lights and clear walkways. The sensory experiences will take place on December 8, 15 and 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
