Iowa man Jason Halkias celebrates eating at all 224 Pizza Ranch restaurants across the country

He finally has the pizza spirit.

An Iowa caretaker completed his quest to eat at all 224 Pizza Ranch restaurants in the United States on Tuesday after starting more than a decade ago with an ex-flame.

“Legendary” Pizza Ranch customer Jason Halkias, 38, celebrated the once-in-a-lifetime milestone when he ate at Sioux Center, Iowa, for lunch after traveling five hours from his hometown of Davenport, according to reports.

“The finish line has been crossed!” » he wrote on Facebook this week.

During his decade-long adventure, Halkias traveled to 14 different states, mostly in the Midwest, to eat everywhere.

“Have you ever gotten tired of Pizza Ranch and I say I know my limits but I never get tired of the food,” he told TMJ4.

Halkias, who works as a guard at the YMCA, told the Minnesota Star Tribune he started his business in 2014 while dating a woman who loved the pizza chain.

When the relationship ended, he decided to continue traveling to Pizza Ranches.

He also self-funded his travels and did not receive a single cent from the company, a Pizza Ranch spokesperson confirmed to the newspaper.

He received a plaque Tuesday to commemorate the honor and a bag of goodies, including a shirt that dubs him a “Legendary Ranch Fan.”

“This is just the initial quest,” Halkias said. KTIV. “I have now visited all the active sites, but activity continues to grow. New locations will open in the future, so call it a post-quest if you want.
