Aaron Rodgers has a new miracle drink that won’t save you or the Jets season

THE Aaron Rodgers Experience did not go well for the New York Jets so far. After missing all of last season, Rodgers only won two games under center, even though he claimed all of his non-traditional methods of self-care during the offseason worked for him.

Well, he’s apparently found another supposed cure to his problems. ESPN’s Rich Cimini reported Tuesday that Jets punter Thomas Morstead introduced Rodgers to wonders of cayenne pepper and watersomething Rogders dubbed the “fountain of youth”.

“T-Mo gave me a little fountain of youth,” he said of Morstead to ESPN. “He said he had been taking it for a while – it was legal, of course. (…) (Maybe) that’s why I feel a little better.”

Jets fans surely don’t feel any better. Unless pepper spray can improve completion percentage and win football games, Rodgers looks like another hippie hitchhiking to Canton, Ohio.

Of course, the internet and sports media immediately pounced on Rodgers for his snake oil-like arguments about how he was going to fix his body and his game.

Now, it should be noted that cayenne pepper and water actually do have health benefits including improving digestion, heart health, and relieving pain and congestion, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

But if the magical mix doesn’t improve the Jets’ “Thursday Night Football” woes against the fearsome Houston Texans, it will just be another unfortunate meme in their season.

Rodgers has a recording 12-6 during midweek primetime games, this was his second appearance with the Jets after beating New England 24–3 in September.

With new addition Davante Adams at wide receiver, prime-time Rodgers will be widely expected to appear rejuvenated by his magic potions and hopefully lead New York to a third victory over a likely team in playoffs.
