Two people have been taken to hospital following a triple stabbing in Brampton on Thursday evening.

Peel paramedics were called to a home in the area of ​​Chinguacousy Road and Sandalwood Drive West around 10:30 p.m.

They located three victims, including one person being treated at the scene. A man in his 60s suffered a head injury and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

A woman in her 30s suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, paramedics have confirmed.

Peel Regional Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and no suspicious information has been released.
