RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Victoria Brown stopped by Morning Break to talk about her pageant title Ms. Black Reno USA 2024 and her dream of winning Ms. Black Nevada USA 2025 at the end of the month.

The competition will take place in Las Vegas from Friday to Sunday, November 22 and 24. The Ms. Black Nevada pageant is the preliminary competition for the Ms. Black USA national pageant.

Brown’s goal is to go to Washington, D.C. for the Ms. Black USA national pageant. If she wins Ms. Black Nevada USA 2025, she wants to become more involved in serving the Reno/Sparks area community and connect with local organizations where she can continue to advocate for her pageant platform called I AM. She plans to attend town halls and city council meetings and get involved in law and policy development to become an agent of change in the city and a force for change. I would also love to organize some sort of conference on women’s empowerment.
