Escape To The Country buyer rejects property for ‘unforgivable’ reason | Television and radio | Showbiz and television

An Escape To The Country hopeful has rejected a property due to an unforgivable problem. Kicki, originally from Sweden, was planning to move to the West Sussex countryside from her current home in Woking, Surrey.

Following a health problem five years ago, she focused more on herself.

Kicki was joined on the show by her friend of almost 30 years, who she said would help her “balance” her decision-making process. Along with host Alistair Appleton, Kicki and Lisa visited the second property in Nyewood, West Sussex.

Kicki has remained “pretty tight-lipped” about her thoughts on the property. When asked for her opinion, she confessed: “The neighbors are a bit close. The road is a bit close. The house looks fascinating and beautiful,” as Alistair explained that he had to show them the house because it was quite special.

The property has undergone renovations over recent years resulting in a high quality finish. Kicki was impressed with the open layout and extension, which included a stunning hourglass-shaped kitchen-diner, reports Wales online.

“It’s very unusual,” they commented, praising the mix of old and new in the design. “As a kitchen-diner there is nothing better, I feel very calm in it,” she expressed when touring the property.

Kiki marveled at the five-bedroom, three-bathroom abode, including two en-suite bathrooms, and was charmed by its rustic exposed brickwork, elegant interior wooden doors and large garden.

Although impressed, she ultimately rejected the house: “The house is beautifully appointed. I don’t think I can forgive the neighbors for being so close. That’s not what I’m looking for right now. I’m sorry” , she said. estimated the value at around £945,000.

Despite the property’s asking price of £800,000, well below her budget of £950,000, Kiki refused, citing proximity to neighbors as a deciding factor.

However, Kicki’s interest was piqued by a barn she had seen and she planned a second visit, hoping to gauge her willingness to compromise for that cozy atmosphere.

“It’s very important! I’m going to go back and visit the house and do a little meditation in my mind when I get home and if the feeling is there, I have to go back and feel it again,” he said. she confided to Alistair.
