RCMP in Chestermere, Alta., say a half-dozen teenagers ruined at least one child’s Halloween Thursday night.

Chestermere RCMP say a youth was threatened for Halloween candy by five or six teenagers.

According to the RCMP, the teenagers were in possession of what appeared to be a machete and a firearm, and they sprayed the youth, who tried to flee.

The teenagers are all described as men and wore dark clothing and masks at the time.

It is possible that they left in a red Volkswagen car.
