Gunshots rang out at a four-way stop along a busy Brampton street Saturday afternoon, and the suspects fled the scene shortly after.

Peel Regional Police said in a social media post that shortly before 3 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired at a vehicle near Gordon Randle Drive and Erintown Crescent.

The suspect(s) reportedly fled the area in a vehicle, although no description regarding the make, model, or color is available at this time.

Additionally, details about the suspects themselves remain unknown, including the number of people involved.

Authorities said no one was injured as a result of the shooting.
