Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “smart move” to expand their property portfolio has raised eyebrows with a Palace insider who claims the company would be “concerned” about their financial future.

Since stepping down from royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have pocketed £75 million from Netflix for their shows, including the documentary series ‘Harry & Meghan’ which contained explosive privacy allegations of the couple and the business.

But reports suggest the Duke and Duchess of Sussex invested some of that money in a new property at the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club in Portugal, a resort dubbed the “Hamptons of Portugal”, at a whopping cost of $3.6 million pounds sterling.

Referring to the expansion of the property portfolio, a source told the Sun: “They are smart with their money.”

However, the outlet also reports that Palace insiders are worried about what will happen when the Sussexes run out of money, as the couple have “huge overheads”, including footing the security bill when of Harry’s visit to the United Kingdom.

A biography by Robert Jobson, published earlier this year, titled “Catherine Princess of Wales”, suggests that King Charles harbored concerns about Harry’s financial stability.

A person close to the Palace expressed his concerns to the author: “What worries His Majesty and his senior team,” declared a Palace official, “is what will happen when all the money is used up. »
