Calling all Swifties: Celebrate the end of eras in Vancouver with these Taylor-themed events

The end of Taylor Swift’s epic, multi-year international Eras tour is fast approaching, with the final three shows scheduled to take place in Vancouver from December 6-8.

From dance parties to drag events to arts and crafts, the city is gearing up to welcome TS

Whether you managed to snag a ticket or not, here are some events for Swifties happening before, during and after Swift’s Vancouver shows.

Catfe Vancouver: Meowras Disco Pawty Tour

When: Tuesday November 5, 7 p.m.
Or: Catfe Vancouver, 2305-88 W. Pender Street, Vancouver

Every Swiftie knows how much their idol loves their cats. You can celebrate Taylor style at the Vancouver Catfe Singing Night. Swift-inspired treats and drinks will be available and each attendee will receive a friendship bracelet.

Taylor Swift Drag Brunch

When: Saturday November 30, noon-3 p.m.
Or: The Lamplighter Public House, 92 Water Street, Vancouver

Hosted by local drag queen Xana, this drag brunch features Swift-inspired cocktails and brunches.

Countdown to Eras Tour Musical Bingo

When: Sunday, December 1, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Or: Langley City Hall, 19640 64th Avenue, Langley

Competitive Swifties can test their knowledge while playing bingo to Taylor Swift music. The event will feature Taylor-themed prizes and performances by drag queen Carrie Dawn, known for her T-Swift impersonation.

Joy of Drag — Taylor Swift’s Night

When: Wednesday December 4, 7 p.m.
Or: The Portside Pub, 7 Alexander Street, Vancouver

Drag queens Carrie Dawn and Jo Duree will perform a Swift-inspired tribute show, followed by an evening of Taylor jams starting at 10 p.m.

Eras Tour Drag Brunch

When: Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, 11 a.m.
Or: Ventura Hall, 695 Cambie Street, Vancouver

On the mornings of the first two Vancouver shows, Ventura Room – conveniently located just around the corner from BC Place Stadium – hosts Taylor Swift drag brunches, also hosted by Carrie Dawn.

The Eras pre-party

When: Friday December 6 and Saturday December 7, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Or: Bentall Centre, 505 Burrard Street, Vancouver

For those looking to prepare for concerts, the Bentall Center hosts an afternoon pre-party before the first two concert dates. It includes making friendship bracelets, decorating concert bags, a DIY patch station and photo stations.

Afternoon Delight Drag Brunch: Reputation

When: Sunday, December 8, noon-3 p.m.
Or: The American, 926 Main Street, Vancouver

The American hosts a drag brunch in Swift’s honor Reputation album on the morning of the third concert. Are you ready for this?

The end of a vintage club night

When: Sunday December 8, 9 p.m.
Or: Levels Nightclub, 560 Seymour Street, Vancouver

After the last scheduled show of the entire Eras tour, Levels nightclub is throwing a dance party for Swifties who can’t get enough. Whether you’re still glowing from the concert, went on an earlier date, or didn’t buy tickets at all, everyone is welcome.

Swifties Fan Party

When: Thursday December 12 and Friday December 13, 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Or: Vancouver Public Library, Oakridge (December 12) and Hastings (December 13) branches

A family-friendly event suitable for children in grades K-7, VPL’s post-show Swiftie events will include crafts and quizzes.

Swiftmas Dance Party

When: Friday December 22, 10 p.m.
Or: The Hollywood Theatre, 3123 W. Broadway, Vancouver

Continue the Swiftivities weeks after the concert at this Taylor Christmas-themed dance party.
