Follow the Detroit Lions’ Week 9 battle with the Green Bay Packers

THE Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers meet on Sunday with first place in the NFC North on the line. With Week 9 being the official halfway point of the NFL season, this game is one of the most crucial yet.

One of the biggest reasons for Detroit’s 6-1 start to the season is the quarterback. Jared Goffwho played at an MVP level to start the campaign. In seven games, Goff has totaled 1,695 yards, 13 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Goff has become one of, if not the most popular people in Detroit. sportywith chants of his name in various places and events. His journey from being sidelined to becoming the Lions’ franchise quarterback has been well-documented and accessible to fans accustomed to overcoming adversity.

“I think a lot of my background can be identified with a lot of these fans,” Goff said in an interview with NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt. “It’s such a crazy thing to experience, not just at games but everywhere. We have the best fans in the world, and it’s something I’ll look back on years from now and realize how wild and crazy it was. cool. “I love playing for them and I hope we can continue to encourage them and have fun. ”
