Tiny cracks in space appeared across the Fortnite Remixes island, and you can use these loopholes to escape quickly. If you’re having trouble finding a loophole for a daily challenge or just for fun, we have some tips to help you locate them.

How to find a rift in Fortnite

Rifts are difficult to spot from afar because they glow the same blue color as a rare item. So you might think you see one, but upon closer inspection it’s just a pulse grenade. The best thing is to know where those fun and useful little cracks appear in the space. In Fortnite RemixRifts seem to be found primarily on the edges of the map, on beaches and other coastal areas. This is likely because it gives people an easy way to get to the action in the central areas of the map.

It doesn’t matter where you are on the coast; you will find a fault at the foot of the cliff. We walked the entire perimeter and found too many faults to count – some within meters of each other. So if you’re looking for a daily challenge to drive a vehicle through a Rift, or forget to jump off the battle bus and end up on the outskirts, you have an easy way out.

And what about the main island? We’ve only discovered a handful of faults on the continent, but interestingly, there seems to be a fault under every colored bridge: red, yellow, blue, purple.

The other spots in the Rift seem to be randomly placed. We found one in Weeping Woods and another among some trees just outside Dirty Docks.

It will be interesting to see if anything starts to emerge from these flaws, like in previous seasons. Rift spots are still in the same locations, so perhaps items, buildings, or characters from Chapter 2 will start to appear as the season progresses.
