As part of this year’s BBC Children in Need event, local BBC radio teams are being invited to take on a 1,000 mile (approximately 1,600km) swim challenge to help raise funds.

Afternoon presenter Shay Kaur Grewal is part of the BBC Radio London team and has trained with three-time Team GB Olympic medalist and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Tom Dean.

Shay and other swimmers will take part in the challenge this week until November 8.
