‘Will never forgive Topuria’: UFC fans react to UFC having ‘only three granite chins’ left after Max Holloway’s brutal KO loss

Ilia Topuria’s victory over Max Holloway was a bittersweet moment for UFC fans. On the one hand, they were able to witness the passage of the guard, on the other, they had to see Max Holloway get knocked out for the first time.

The Hawaii native had fought 29 fights during his career without being knocked out once. However, El Matador’s left hook was too much to handle as he attacked the canvas.

Following his defeat by KO, all that remains in the UFC is “3 granite chin» who can claim the best chin in the UFC.

Needless to say, Topuria carries the burden the bulk of his spectacular victory. One fan put it in the best possible way and said: “We will never forgive Topuria.”

This fan thinks Marlon Vera will break Holloway’s 29th fight save when he retired, and gave him a cry- “Chito could break the record by the time he finishes his career.” Another fan explained that Jon Jones wasn’t eliminated, but only because of his SKILLSand asserted, “Jon Jones doesn’t have a chin like Holloway, Munoz or Chito, he just manages distance and has good defense.”

It’s good to see Topuria finally making his way into everyone’s hearts, especially Cristiano Ronaldo.

Topuria responds to Real Madrid R7 legend

As a die-hard Real Madrid fan, it must have been heartbreaking for Topuria to see Cristiano Ronaldo calling him arrogant.

Although ironic, given the Portuguese superstar has been accused of the same thing throughout his career, the former Santiago Bernabeu heartthrob claimed Topuria talked too much when speaking to Eric Nicksick ahead of Francis Ngannou’s debut in PFL.

Topuria, in classic El Matador fashion, didn’t let that slide!

“I didn’t expect someone like you to be unable to distinguish between confidence and arrogance. But ultimately, we all reflect our own reality onto others. I wish you the best for what remains of your career and may God bless your family.

Fortunately, the Spaniard doesn’t have to worry about Ronaldo. Right now, his biggest concern is his own words, which he conveniently uses to label UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. And not just any call, he promised to become the first person to submit Isam as if he was the first person to knock out Max Holloway.

So, maybe Ronaldo wasn’t entirely wrong, huh?
