It will be another cloudy and dreary day in the 40s for our Tuesday. Rain will move east through the Twin Ports and northwest Wisconsin. Three-quarters of an inch is expected in northern Wisconsin by the end of the day, with the North Shore and parts of east-central Minnesota only expecting a quarter-inch total by this evening. Conditions will remain dry in the Iron Range as only a few scattered showers are expected across the north.

Once the rain clears, high pressure returns and conditions will remain dry for the remainder of the work week. Temperatures will reach 50 degrees, just 5 to 10 degrees above normal, as sunny skies persist. The next low pressure system is expected to arrive on Saturday evening and bring rain to Northland on Sunday as well.
