RCMP press release:

Halifax Regional RCMP are investigating mischief at controlled access points along the Beechville-Lakeside-Timberlea (BLT) trail system.

On November 3, around 10:30 a.m., RCMP officers responded to a report of mischief on the BLT Trail from Timberlea to Hubley. At this time, it is estimated that a total of ten gates preventing motorized access were vandalized during the previous night. The damage is estimated in the thousands of dollars.

As the investigation continues, investigators are appealing to the public for information.
