Election stress is hitting Washington hard. Luckily, so are the city’s Election Day food and drink offerings. Don’t miss these special offers on Tuesday, November 5:

201 Massachusetts Avenue, NE

This Election Day, NoMa’s Union Pub will ask the question: What if the Electoral College was run by barflies? Starting at 5 p.m., orders of the $10 blue, red and purple drinks will count toward the “270 Challenge”: if 270 of these vodka cocktails are sold by the end of the night, the entire bar will receive a series of shots. Special election-themed menus will be available starting at 11 a.m.: highlights include JD’s Couch Potato Martini, They’re Eating the Dogs mini corndogs and the Kamala is Brat bratwurst special. Expect a full house.

116 Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest

This Bloomingdale pub will offer its happy hour deals all night on November 5, as well as themed drink specials (think Kamala’s Coconut Daiquiri, with Cotton & Reed rum). Tuesday night quizzes will continue as usual at 6pm but will have a special political theme, and all TVs will be tuned to returns.

520 Florida Avenue, Northwest

A $99 election night pass at this neighborhood hangout will give you access to a four-hour open bar, buffet dinner and hors d’oeuvres while the news stories air on the TVs places. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.

1200 19th Street, Northwest

If there’s one thing to expect from a Theodore Roosevelt-themed bar, it’s a election watch evening. On November 5, enjoy an extended happy hour (featuring a free buffet filled with bar bites like wings and sliders), $1.50 oysters from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and specialty cocktails as you go as results come in.

1337 14th Street, Northwest

Watch the returns at this Logan Circle beer bar while you sip $5 American lagers and draft beers. Also on the special election day menu: a plain flatbread for $10 and a “bipartisan” flatbread (topped with half duck confit and half roasted pumpkin) for $15.

1101 Pennsylvania Ave., SE — Unit 1

This Capitol Hill Mexican restaurant offers happy hours all day, including $4 beers, $8 wines, and $12 tapas. Keep an eye on the cafe’s televisions to follow the elections until 10:30 p.m.

949 Wharf Street, Southwest

Visit Shaw’s American Ice Co. or Brighton DC at The Wharf to enter a “Swing State Raffle”: Guests will receive a blue or red ticket, bearing the name of a swing state, upon entry. Election coverage will be happening on TVs: if your state “swings” based on the color of your ticket, you’ll win a free jello shot (and if your state isn’t called tonight, return with your winning ticket to claim your price). The festivities start at 9 p.m. and the game is free.

1940 11th Street, Northwest

This Shaw wine bar will host its usual election-themed Tuesday night quiz from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Along with TV election coverage, Lulu’s will offer discounts on its Aperol Spritzes, sparkling wines and beer. Reservations are encouraged.

The TVs will be turned up to full volume during this Dupont bar’s watch party: order a burger, fries and a beer for $17.99 while keeping up with the news. Sip on $5.75 draft beer refills, plus election-themed cocktails “270 to Win” and “Magic Wall.”

26 Street N, SE

Drown your nerves with $6 Kona beers, $10 frozen drinks and $6.50 themed shots at the Navy Yard pool-themed bar. Several TVs will show election coverage: snack on $10.50 slider trios and discounted sushi rolls while you watch.

901 Fourth Street Northwest

Forget the presidential election with a Cocktail competition: This TV-free Mount Vernon Triangle Italian spot pits two limited-time martinis against each other. One contender is fruity and floral—made with grapefruit-infused tequila and aperitivo rosato—and the other has pepper brine for a pickle twist. The winning drink will be awarded a permanent place on the bar menu. Additionally, the restaurant’s $7 martini specials will expand to the main bar on November 5, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

7350 Georgia Avenue, Northwest

Need to keep your hands busy? This craft shop also serves as a café and bar. On Election Day, customers can enjoy the $35 meal package: three empanadas, an ice cream sandwich, your choice of alcoholic beverage (or tea) and a pickle platter or cheese box. If you work on a Harris-themed craft, you’ll receive 10% off any food or drink order. Entrance is free, but to sit upstairs you need a RSVP.

Don’t want to leave the house on election night? This French restaurant in Logan Circle has what you need: The restaurant offers a party snack pack including antipasti like salamis, gougères, and marinated olives. The bundle, which will arrive in a branded tote bag, also includes a printed cheese board and a pack of tissues. Priced at $125, it will be available for delivery via Doordash on November 5.

Mike Friedman’s beloved pizzerias are getting into the election spirit with their own poll. To “vote,” order one of the competing pies – the Standard, Buona or Sedgwick – directly through the All-Purpose and AP Pizza Shop websites on November 5. Those who voted for the winning (most ordered) pizza will win a free drink ticket for their next trip to either restaurant.

974 Palmer Lane, Northwest

This Italian dining room at CityCenterDC will be closed on Election Day, giving staff a paid day off to vote. But for $150 you can get yourself a ready-to-cook meal kit for two, which includes a green salad, pumpkin and kale lasagna, red snapper, kabocha squash crostata and wine. Order before Saturday, November 2 for collection between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on November 4 or 9 a.m. and noon on November 5.

Peter Chang’s modern Chinese restaurant serves comfort food to go, available for pickup at his Dupont restaurant on November 4 and 5. The $120 packages, filled with dishes like pan-fried dumplings, lo mein and matcha cake, feed four people. Pre-order from traditional Or vegetarian online menu before 10 p.m. on November 1st.
