Salesforce customers converged on Innovation Day in the Salesforce Tower on Dublin’s Waterfront for a presentation of the artificial intelligence agent development platform, Agentforce.

The event saw representatives from 150 customers develop AI agents without the need for coding skills.

Low-code/no-code agents allow businesses to implement technology that acts on behalf of the customer.

UCD uses Agentforce to engage with prospective students by allowing them to interact with the university whenever they want, freeing up staff time to work on other recruitment activities and more specialist engagement with students.

Mark Lande, Director of Enterprise Applications at University College Dublin (UCD), said: “UCD is a pioneer and will be the first Salesforce customer in Ireland to leverage Agentforce to improve engagement with our customers, that is, our potential students. Autonomous agents have the potential to be a game changer in the higher education sector, allowing us to automate processes and improve the student and staff experience.

Gavin Killen, chief digital officer at Bord Gáis Energy, explained how the organization was using AI to engage with customers by “unifying customer data, streamlining workflows and improving digital engagement”.

He added: “We are now able to deliver personalized experiences and targeted campaigns that improve customer satisfaction and efficiency. »
