3 guns seized in Montana First Nation, police seek more information

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying three firearms found at a First Nation home in Montana.

Mounties said the weapons – two high-powered rifles and a handgun – were seized Tuesday as part of an ongoing weapons investigation. Police said ammunition and “other dangerous weapons” were also found.

No charges have yet been filed.

Anyone with information on the origin of the weapons is asked to call Maskwacis RCMP at 780 585-4600.

The Montana First Nation is located approximately 110 kilometers south of Edmonton.
