RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – My family connectionLLC organizes the fall festival in The placelocated inside Party America.

Charitie Carpenter, CEO of My Family Connection, and Katie Coombs, owner of The Venue, stopped by Morning Break to invite the community to their event.

The fall festival will take place Saturday, November 9 from 3-7 p.m. at The Venue (5925 S. Virginia Street, Reno). Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance ($5 for children over 5 and $10 for adults), but tickets will also be available at the door.

There will be games, crafts, light refreshments, competitions and much more. Part of the profits will be donated to a non-profit organization, FosterED connection. Carpenter is also the founder and executive director of this nonprofit organization. Their mission is to provide comprehensive educational advocacy and life skills training for children in foster care, ensuring they have the support needed to reach their full potential.
