NEW YORK, November 6. /TASS/. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump should not declare victory until the final results are known, his campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in an interview on NBC News.

“I don’t think that’s going to happen. I’m giving him the choice, and I believe he will declare victory and give a speech to his supporters, again, at the appropriate time,” she said.

Earlier, CBS reported, referring to unnamed sources, that Trump’s campaign headquarters was discussing the possibility of proclaiming his victory well before the end of the vote count.

Trump prematurely declared victory in the 2020 presidential election and never officially conceded victory to Joe Biden.
