BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Voters across Louisiana cast their ballots for U.S. President and House seats on Tuesday, November 5.

In East Baton Rouge, residents voted for the mayor-president and several Metro Council seats.

Polls closed at 8 p.m. and BRProud brings you the latest results for this and other local races and propositions, including elections for mayor, council and police chief in the coverage area of BRProud.

Any runoff elections will take place on Saturday, December 7. Early voting for this election will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. November 22-30, excluding Sunday, November 24, Thursday, November 28, and Friday. November 29. Residents who want to vote early can use the GeauxVote mobile app to find their early voting locationsreview their sample ballot and visit the voting site on Election Day.
