“The American people gave Donald Trump a very clear mandate for change tonight,” he wrote on his X account on the social network.

Meanwhile, vote counting for the election is still ongoing and no victory has yet been declared.

The businessman also promised that “the future will be fantastic.”

Trump has 267 electoral votes, of which 270 are needed to win. Democratic candidate Kamala Harris received 216 votes.

Donald Trump intends to invite Elon Musk to head the government efficiency commission if he wins the presidential election. This commission should audit and reform the federal government to eliminate fraud and inefficiency. Musk indicated he was willing to accept the offer.

The United States holds new primary elections in which the president, one-third of the Senate, the entire House of Representatives, and the governors of 11 states and 2 territories are elected.
