Brooklyn, the eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, made a rare comment about Prince Harry and Meghan amid rumors of an ongoing feud.

The Beckhams share a close association with the royal family and David recently became an ambassador for the King’s Foundation.

The former footballer and the Duke of Sussex shared a particularly close friendship, but had a fallout after the Sussexes accused the Beckhams of “leaking stories”, according to royal expert Tom Bower.

Brooklyn appeared in the last episode of Watch what’s happening live! where host Andy Cohen asked a question about his ties to the royal family.

“Growing up, which members of the royal family did you see most often, especially since your family is friends with Harry and Meghan?” Cohen asked on behalf of a fan he identified as Jennifer B.

In response, the 25-year-old replied: “Probably William,” referring to the Prince of Wales. Cohen then asked what the future king looked like.

“He’s like the nicest guy ever.” He really is. He’s really down to earth. He’s a really good guy,” Brooklyn said.

The comment is a first amid long-running speculation that her famous parents have officially severed ties with Prince Harry and Meghan.

The rift reportedly dates back to 2018 after Meghan accused Victoria of leaking private information about her and Prince Harry to the press.

Additionally, Bower also said that friction between the two couples occurred when Meghan became jealous of Victoria’s fame.
