Edmonton weather: clear skies, sunshine and a maximum temperature of 11°C…in November?

Article content

An overview of the weather in Edmonton on Wednesday Environment Canada.

It’s -1°C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with winds of 16 km/h blowing from the south-southwest.

It seems the skies have granted us a brief respite from the looming threat of heavy winter snowfall, as the next few days will bring us not only clear, sunny skies, but also some decent warmth.

Wednesday will be a mix of sun and clouds to start, clearing around midday, with winds up to 15 km/h and a maximum temperature of 11 C. Skies will remain clear overnight and into Thursday, which will have blue skies and sunshine with a maximum temperature of 13 C. Friday promises to be even more pleasant, with a maximum temperature of 16 C!

I wouldn’t get too comfortable or anything, but the next few days will be perfect for those of us walking our pets or taking our kids to the park.
