Man wanted after allegedly stabbing driver, stealing his car in East York – CP24

Toronto police are looking for a man who allegedly stabbed a driver after an argument and fled in the victim’s vehicle.

This happened on Sunday, around 4 a.m., in the neighborhood of Coxwell and Mortimer Avenues.

Officers said the victim took the suspect into the neighborhood when they got into an argument. The accused allegedly stabbed the victim, forcing him to leave the vehicle, and took his car keys.

Police said he left in the victim’s car. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

In a press release published Wednesday, Police said they were looking for Ervis Brocka, 39, in connection with the incident.

He is wanted for assault and motor vehicle theft.

Police describe him as a six-foot man weighing 220 pounds.
