Feed Rogers reopens after tornado damage

ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Feed Rogers, a customer-choice food pantry, has reopened its doors after making repairs following a tornado.

The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Society program allows clients to choose their own food.

“We know that everyone can experience food insecurity and we welcome everyone to our center,” said the website States. “Our top priority is to create an environment where neighbors feel safe and where they are treated with dignity and respect by staff and volunteers. »

People were happy to come back and make their choices.

“I like being able to choose because there might be something in there that I might not be able to eat or I might not be able to use,” Rukeeya Collins said. “Here I can choose what I want and what I don’t want.”

Appointments can be made at Feed Rogers by calling 479-408-4393.
